Job Description
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse with 1.5 years of experience in critical care. This role will involve managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure, using advanced monitoring and intervention skills. The candidate should be proficient in utilization of Epic for charting and possess skills in arterial line management, central line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, as well as care for ventilated patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Perform ongoing assessments and manage complex patient needs.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies and drips.
- Monitor and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias.
- Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and utilize PPE as required.
Required Experience
- 1.5 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
