7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in a 32-bed Intensive Care Unit with a high patient ratio of 2:1. The unit features Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors and utilizes the Meditech documentation system. The focus will be on patients with cardiac issues, including those in a cardiogenic shock program.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to cardiac patients, including advanced skills in PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
- Conduct procedures such as central line insertion, Swan insertion, and intubations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
- Assist in floating to other units as needed based on patient census.
Required Experience
- Must have cardiac experience and strong critical care experience.
Certifications/Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
