Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of recent ICU experience to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires strong clinical skills in a variety of critical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
- Provide care and management for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Interpret arterial blood gases and telemetry readings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
- Charge experience preferred.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active NY State Registered Nurse License.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
