Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with 2 weekends per month.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide comprehensive care to patients across all age groups within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ED features 25 beds and utilizes Paragon as its electronic health record system. The team is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients presenting to the emergency department.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain patient safety and comfort during their hospital stay.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington.
