ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (Day Shift) in Concord, California.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
12-hour shifts, Day Shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with start times available at 7 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM, and 11 AM. Typically, weekend rotation every other weekend.
Job Description
Join our team in a 350+ bed non-teaching community hospital serving a diverse patient population, including a Level II trauma center that sees over 45,000 patients a year. The Emergency Room features a 30+ bed capacity, and candidates should have some trauma experience. Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR), preferably Epic.
- Float as needed within the scope of skills based on patient care demands.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- California RN license or pending application
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is strongly preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
