Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekly guaranteed hours: 36. Weekend hours: every other/as needed. Call requirements: as needed.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work in the Emergency Department at a 95-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility. The department serves patients of all ages and focuses on a variety of emergencies. The nurse will utilize EDIS for electronic health documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain proper documentation in compliance with facility policies.
- Assist with emergency procedures and participate in patient triage.
Required Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course).
- HWC (Haven's Way Certification).
