ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
This position requires a schedule of 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, along with 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks. Holiday coverage may be required, and no call is expected.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team providing care to a diverse patient population. The unit serves as a Level 2 Trauma Center, treating a range of emergencies including but not limited to stroke, cardiac, and trauma cases. You will utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to document patient interactions and care plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assist in managing critical cases, including trauma patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Utilize skills in phlebotomy, IV management, and other emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain and enhance nursing skills through continuous professional development and training.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
- Experience in Level 2 Trauma care preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred.
