ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Burlington, North Carolina.

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
3x12 hour shifts, with night coverage from 7 PM to 7:30 AM; some shifts may extend to 3 PM to 3 AM as needed. Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage required. No call required.
Job Description
The Emergency Department nurse will provide care for a diverse patient population, managing a range of medical emergencies, including critical care situations. Experience in a STEMI and stroke facility is essential as the role includes caring for special populations such as cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients in emergency situations.
- Administer medications and initiate IV therapy as necessary.
- Monitor and manage patients with a variety of urgent conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all care and interventions accurately using EPIC.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department.
- Prior experience in a STEMI and stroke care setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in North Carolina.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
