Schedule/Shift
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts. No call or block scheduling.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level IV Trauma hospital, working primarily with a patient ratio of 1:5 in the Emergency Department, which consists of 14 beds. Candidates will utilize the MedHost electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, documenting findings accurately.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize the MedHost EMR system for accurate record-keeping.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Experience in a Level IV Trauma facility is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN licensure in Texas.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
