7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with a 36-hour guarantee, every other weekend.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide critical care to patients facing urgent and life-threatening situations. This role requires a proactive approach to patient care, with strong attention to detail and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with medical procedures.
- Administer medications and manage treatment plans as per physician directives.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, updating care protocols as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding health outcomes and care plans.
- Prioritize and manage multiple patients with varying healthcare needs.
Required Experience
3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Current RN license in Michigan
