ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Plattsburgh, New York.

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a; Rotating schedule with a minimum of every other weekend required. Holiday coverage is mandatory, but there are no call requirements.
Job Description
The Emergency Department is a busy community setting accommodating both adult and pediatric patients, from neonates to geriatrics. The unit has a total of 29 bed Emergency Department (ED), 4 bed Behavioral Health unit, and 7 bed Fast Track area. Care is provided using EPIC for documentation, with additional support from respiratory and anesthesia services available 24/7.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care, including boarded patients and psychiatric patients.
- Administer medications and IV therapy as needed.
- Perform EKGs and give respiratory treatments.
- Work collaboratively with ancillary staff including Crisis Clinicians, CNAs, and PCTs.
- Participate in the training of CA II staff for lab procedures.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Experience in a busy emergency department environment with fluctuating census.
Certifications/Licensure
- Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (must be completed before starting).
- Must possess or have applied for a New York nursing license prior to submission.
