Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, managing acute medical conditions and emergencies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in triaging, assessing, and developing treatment plans for patients presenting with various medical issues.
Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient needs in the emergency care setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient encounters and care using electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and follow-up.
Required Experience
Candidate must have prior experience in an emergency room setting with a strong ability to manage critical patients.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid RN license in New York (Nursys)
