Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include triaging patients, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires a keen ability to assess and respond to critical situations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients efficiently upon arrival.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Required Experience
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
- Previous experience in an emergency department or critical care setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Additional certifications related to emergency care are preferred.
