Job Description
The Emergency Department at HCA West is a fast-paced environment with a total of 28 beds. The unit supports a collaborative team focused on providing exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse in this department, you will work alongside a skilled staff, including Certified Nurse Coordinators, RNs, Medics, and Ultrasound specialists, utilizing advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and Baxter IV pumps. Your role will be critical in ensuring patient safety and delivering timely emergency interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients, including but not limited to intubation and central line placement.
- Maintain detailed electronic medical records using Meditech Expanse.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in the triage of patients and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in an emergency department setting with a focus on patient experience and emergency response.
Certifications/Licensure
- Must possess ACLS, BLS, and either PALS or ENPC certifications.
