Shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Job Description
The Emergency Department at Doctors Regional consists of 12 beds staffed by a dedicated team of RNs, ER Techs, and Unit Secretaries. The department emphasizes a high-energy and fast-paced environment, with critical procedures such as STEMI and Stroke/TPA as part of its routine. Candidates will utilize an EMR system for documentation, and strong skills in Neuro and Cardiac care are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Administer emergency medical treatments and conduct assessments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and effective outcomes.
- Document patient care using the EMR system.
- Engage in critical care procedures including STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSI.
Required Experience
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- ENPC or PALS Certification.
- CPI and TNCC certifications preferred.
