Job Description
The Emergency Department at Ocala Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients in a Level 2 Trauma Center setting. The unit consists of 31 beds and is supported by a staff of 60 professionals, including Charge RNs, Triage RNs, medics, and greeters. Our focus is on delivering high-quality emergency and trauma care, and we are looking for candidates who are experienced and passionate about working in high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department, including triaging patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech EMR system.
- Participate in emergency protocols and trauma care procedures.
Required Experience
- Current RN license in Florida or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience in Emergency Department or Trauma Nursing.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- TNCC, PALS, and ENPC certifications preferred.
