Job Description
The Emergency Department is a 28-bed unit with a dynamic team of 19 staff members, including a CNC, RNs, triage, medics, and ultrasound technicians. The ED is equipped with ventilators and Baxter IV pumps, utilizing Meditech Expanse for electronic medical records. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4, allowing for quality care delivery in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Perform intubation procedures.
- Insert central lines as needed.
- Utilize emergency response skills effectively.
Required Experience
- Must have experience in patient care and emergency response.
Certifications/Licensure
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC.
- TNCC preferred.
