This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
This position requires night shifts of 36 hours per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with potential weekend coverage per department rotation. No on-call duties are required.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department will provide optimal patient care, assessing and managing patients of varying acuity. This role requires familiarity with Epic EHR for documentation and patient management.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
- Utilize Epic EHR for accurate patient documentation.
- Maintain certifications and comply with department policies and procedures.
Required Experience
- Active RN license in the state of New York.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Department preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- CPI certificate required.
- NIHSS certificate required.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Must be 75+ miles from the local contract.
