Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (Adult) at our state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical skill set and the ability to manage a variety of emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and starting/maintaining IVs.
- Manage patients requiring CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator support.
- Conduct cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Provide emergency care to adult and pediatric patients.
- Implement isolation precautions and conduct triage for incoming patients.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an emergency department setting.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active New York Single State RN license is required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be current.
