Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department focusing on adult patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with the ability to manage a high volume of diverse patient cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to adult patients, including critical interventions.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
- Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and maintaining IV lines.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic technology and follow isolation precautions.
- Engage in triage and serve patients with various emergency diagnoses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Active New York Single State RN license.
- 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
Certifications / Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Must have valid NIHSS certification at the time of application.
