Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) with at least 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients with various acuity levels.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
- Administer emergency medications and IV vasopressors.
- Perform blood product administration and central line care.
- Conduct procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Obtain and interpret 12 lead EKGs.
- Provide general care in the Emergency Department (combined Adult/Pedi).
- Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE requirements.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the Emergency Department.
- Experience with patient ratios of 5-6 preferred.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Active NY State RN license required.
