Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to handle complex cases.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and monitor patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Administer medications, including emergency medications and IV vasopressors.
- Manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Perform phlebotomy and start IVs as required.
- Assist with procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting.
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:5.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current New York RN license.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required.
