Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Free Standing ER Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 1 year of general emergency experience in both adult and pediatric care. This position may require floating to different facilities as necessary. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, managing dysrhythmias, maintaining IVs, and providing care using Epic charting.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care in a high-paced emergency department environment.
- Administer emergency medications and perform procedural sedation administration/monitoring.
- Provide care for ventilated patients and manage IV vasopressors.
- Assist with triage and prioritize patient needs efficiently.
- Participate in interdisciplinary support discussions and use interpretation services as needed.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency nursing (adult and pediatric).
- Experience with patient ratios of 5 to 7 patients per nurse at night.
Certifications / Licensure
- Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Preferred: NRP, TNCC.
- Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required.
