Schedule/Shift
Days are variable Monday-Friday, with four 8-hour shifts from 0700-1530. On-call duties with a 30-minute response time and holiday availability are required.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care within the Endoscopy unit. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, patient assessment, and monitoring during and after procedures. Candidates should be prepared to handle various patient cases and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with endoscopic procedures and patient positioning.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide patient education and support as needed.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 24 months of recent Endoscopy nursing experience.
- No hits on state license to practice.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license to practice, verified within the last 30 days.
- Current AHA- or ARC-approved BLS certification.
- Current AHA- or ARC-approved ACLS certification.
- Driver's license to verify residency.
