Schedule/Shift
Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm with possible flexible call requirements. Call from 2:30pm - 6:00am during the week and 6:00am - 6:00am on weekends, typically covering Friday through Sunday together.
Job Description
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy. The nurse will be responsible for assisting with endoscopic procedures, patient care, and working within an EMR system (Cerner, Provasion). The unit has 4 beds, and the hospital will provide scrubs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with endoscopic procedures and patient monitoring.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care activities in the EMR.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Required Experience
1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably with experience in an Endoscopy Tech role.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
