Schedule/Shift
Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with call requirements of 7 days per month including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room department, primarily handling adult patients along with minimal pediatric cases in an outpatient setting. The facility has a 13-bed operating room with advanced equipment, including robotics and laser technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and effective care.
- Document all aspects of patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) system (Cerner).
- Assist with patient education and pre-operative preparation.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN licensure (ADN or BSN) required.
