12-hour Night shift, from 19:00 to 07:00, guaranteed 34.5 hours per week.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CVICU RN who is equipped to handle fresh open heart cases on post-operative day zero in an acute care setting. You will utilize EPIC for charting, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the CVICU.
- Manage and monitor patients post-operatively from open-heart surgeries.
- Use EPIC for documentation and patient management.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- BSN degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a CVICU or CTICU setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN license to practice in New York.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification is preferred.
