Schedule/Shift
This position offers a day shift from 06:00 to 16:30, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Surgery will provide care in a fast-paced surgical environment, focusing on the needs of patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. Attention to detail and strong clinical skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Assist with patient education regarding post-operative and ongoing care.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular surgery or a related clinical setting is required.
Certifications/Licensure
Active RN license in Florida is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
