Day shift from 7A to 7P, 36 guaranteed hours per week, with a typical 4 shifts/4 week schedule.
Job Description
The Pediatric Cardiac ICU at HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children's provides a specialized care environment for pediatric patients with congenital heart diseases. The unit consists of 10 beds and has a dedicated team of professionals, including board-certified pediatric heart intensivists. RNs in this role will be pivotal in supporting families through their child’s complex care journey while utilizing advanced medical technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-operative care for pediatric cardiac patients.
- Administer inotropic and vasopressor continuous infusions.
- Manage intravenous fluids and chest tube care.
- Conduct moderate sedation procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Critical Care experience.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
