Job Description
Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure. Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, procedural support, hemodynamic monitoring, moderate-sedation recovery, and management of acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment committed to exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and provide education.
- Support procedures and monitor hemodynamic status.
- Manage recovery from moderate sedation.
- Handle both acute and non-acute clinical situations.
Required Experience
- Telemetry experience.
- Recent Cath and EP Lab experience preferred.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN License (NY License ONLY)
- BLS (AHA) Certification required
- ACLS (AHA) Certification required
- Experience in CVICU/Cardiac Care required
