Schedule/Shift
Varied shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, 3-11. Every other weekend and call required one or two times per week in 8-hour increments.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room will serve a diverse patient population across all ages in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room environment.
- Monitor patient conditions and responses before, during, and after surgery.
- Assist in surgical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC electronic health record system.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Pennsylvania RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- CPI/HWC certification preferred.
