This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
The schedule consists of the following shifts: Fridays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m., and Mondays from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. On-call coverage is required from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. every other weekend.
Job Description
The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans on patients, including but not limited to procedures such as CTA head/neck perfusion, CT A/P, CTA runoffs, cardiac CTA, CTA chest, and CT head. Clinicians will float between the Main CT department and the Emergency Room CT, handling an estimated 100 CT visits per day. Familiarity with the EPIC documentation system is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform various CT procedures as indicated by physician orders.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during CT scans.
- Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Document patient data accurately in the EPIC system.
- Provide on-call coverage as scheduled and required during weekends and holidays.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience with Siemens and GE imaging equipment, including GE 256, GE 64, and 32 Evo.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT certification in CT required.
- Active NJ or Compact license.
