Job Description
Join Grand Strand Medical Center’s Radiology team as a CT Technologist, where you will play a key role in performing routine CT exams in the Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient settings. The facility conducts an average of 180 CT exams per day utilizing state-of-the-art GE imaging equipment, including GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice scanners.
This position requires a compassionate approach to patient care, aligned with the facility’s dedication to quality. You will contribute to the seamless operation of the Radiology department while upholding the highest standards of patient experience and care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT examinations for all types of ED and inpatient cases, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA.
- Operate GE CT equipment independently and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient patient care.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a level 1 trauma setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred.
