ARMStaffing is looking for a CT Technologist, Radiology (Night Shift) in Plattsburgh, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Shifts are from 1500 to 2330 and 2300 to 0730. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of 3 holidays, and the schedule may consist of 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts, 1 day off, then another 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts, followed by 6 days off. Floating is not required, but call and holiday coverage are scheduled as needed.
Job Description
Join our Radiology department as a CT Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in providing CT scans for a diverse patient population ranging from ages 0 to 100. You will be working with Philips CT scanners, performing CT exams of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, c-spine, and PE studies. This position requires familiarity with the EPIC documentation system and an emphasis on patient care and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and assist with venipuncture procedures as required.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues to the appropriate staff.
- Document procedures accurately in the EPIC system.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Required Experience
A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience and specialty experience in CT is required. Familiarity with the EPIC documentation system from within the past 2 years is also necessary.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARRT CT certification is required.
- New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) certifications, including venipuncture certification, are required.
