Job Description
The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans on patients, ensuring quality imaging for follow-up cancer diagnoses. This role involves starting IVs, administering contrast media, running I-stat labs, and post-processing images. Candidates should have experience working in an outpatient clinic environment, with a focus on mobile patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans on various patient demographics, including neonates and infants.
- Start IVs and administer contrast media as required.
- Conduct post-processing of CT images for accurate diagnosis and reporting.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide thorough patient care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience with a variety of imaging studies including CT of extremities, abdomen, pelvis, and head/chest.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications are required.
