Full Time PM Shift (2pm-10pm), Every other weekend.
Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a vital role in providing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include assessing residents, administering medications, and updating team members and family members on the residents' conditions. The LPN will also provide support to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents while adhering to the 5 Rights of medication administration.
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
- Inform the charge nurse of any changes in residents' conditions.
- Assist CNAs with answering call lights and other duties.
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians and family members as necessary.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Experience
1+ years of related work experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Must hold and maintain Wisconsin LPN license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
