Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with on-call requirements of 1-2 days per week. No weekends or call on weekends.
Job Description
Join the Endoscopy unit at St. David's Medical Center, where you will work with a team of dedicated professionals in delivering exceptional care. The unit features two procedure rooms and is staffed with a team of two RNs and three Technicians, ensuring a patient-focused environment with a 1:1 patient ratio during each procedure.
You will be responsible for performing a variety of endoscopic procedures, including EGD, Colonoscopy, GI Bleeds, and ERCP, utilizing advanced GI equipment and scopes. Familiarity with the Meditech EMR system is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with endoscopic procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, GI Bleeds, and ERCP.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Maintain and operate GI equipment and scopes.
- Document patient care and procedures in the Meditech EMR system.
Required Experience
- Must have Endoscopy experience.
