Job Description
The CVOR Tech will be responsible for supporting the cardiovascular operating room team. The position requires expertise in vascular procedures and a positive approach to patient care. The ideal candidate will work within a team of professionals to ensure the highest quality of care and patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and support staff.
- Provide on-call support during assigned periods.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 6 months current CVOR Tech hospital experience.
- BLS and NBSTA Certification required.
- Current active KS licensure.
- Must be vascular trained.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification.
- Experience in open heart and cardiovascular procedures.
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR.
