Schedule/Shift
Schedule is weekdays from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call availability for three 12-hour shifts on various days.
Job Description
The Cath Lab Tech will be part of a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab unit, responsible for performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures including right and left heart catheterizations, as well as peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures. The unit is equipped with advanced technology including GE labs, Impella devices, balloon pumps, and IVUS. Documentation is performed via Merge Hemo documentation system.
Responsibilities
- Conduct right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional.
- Perform peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the Merge Hemo system.
- Respond to on-call requirements as assigned.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab environment.
Certifications/Licensure
- RCIS certification is required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
