ARMStaffing is looking for a Cath Lab Tech, Cardiac Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Port Charlotte, Florida.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Schedule runs from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a requirement to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description
The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, and managing equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate should be skilled in operating catherization equipment and have a solid understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
Responsibilities
- Assist with catheterization procedures and patient monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on procedures and post-care.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
Required Experience
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and techniques.
Certifications/Licensure
- Certification in Cardiac Catheterization or related area preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
