Schedule/Shift
The schedule is 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 4 days a week with weekend rotation. Call requirements include one weekend and approximately 4-5 days per month.
Job Description
The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in a fast-paced environment. The role requires proficient use of Cannon and Siemens equipment, along with competence in Epic documentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist with various cardiac procedures including catheterizations and angioplasty.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab equipment and ensure sterile environment.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in Epic.
- Assist with patient education regarding procedures and post-care.
Required Experience
- Valid certifications: CVT, RCIS, AART with cardiology experience.
- Experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist).
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).
- AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification is required.
- Current licensure for practice in Michigan is essential.
