Schedule/Shift
Day Shift: 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week; on-call required for night shifts every 5th weekend from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Monday.
Job Description
The Cath Lab Technician will work in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting in diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations and structural heart procedures. The unit features state-of-the-art equipment, including an X-ray system, Mac Lab, and Cerner EMR for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during testing.
- Monitor patient vitals and responses throughout procedures.
- Maintain and operate required medical equipment.
Required Experience
- Must have at least 1 recent year of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- PICC line experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- RCIS or ARRT certification is required for technician positions.
