ARMStaffing is looking for a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, Electrophysiology (Day Shift) in Anchorage, Alaska.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
This position requires a 4x10 hour Day Shift, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There are some required Saturdays as part of the regular schedule, and call coverage for electrophysiology is required from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM if needed.
Job Description
The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist will work in a dynamic cardiovascular suite focused on various procedures including Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath, STEMI, and electrophysiological interventions. The technologist will utilize a variety of equipment, including the Philips X-Ray System and manage devices such as Impella and Tandem Heart. Responsibilities also include patient monitoring, equipment setup, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. Experience with McKesson and MacLab/Cardio Lab for electrophysiology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
- Assist in electrophysiology procedures and ensure proper device operation.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain high standards of sterile technique and patient safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Experience with specific cardiac devices such as IABP and LVAD support.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- A valid state license is needed; pending licenses acceptable if the state processing is underway.
