Desired Skills/Duties: DUTIES: Provide middleware, cloud, and application server support for enterprise payment and customer-channel applications across WebSphere Application Server and AWS environments. Perform technical incident troubleshooting by analyzing application configurations, server logs, JVM metrics, batch processing results, Jenkins pipeline failures, and Git-based deployment configurations. Support high-severity incidents and planned changes by validating deployments, coordinating recovery activities, and ensuring system stability. Conduct pre- and post-deployment validations for AWS, middleware, and application updates. Validate secure communication through SSL/TLS certificates, connectivity checks, and access controls. Monitor application performance using enterprise monitoring tools and support problem management activities. Coordinate with database teams (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) to verify connectivity and data availability. Participate in disaster recovery (DR) testing, readiness validation, and application recovery verification. Maintain and update DR runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation, including Jenkins workflows and Git configurations. Analyze recurring incidents and system alerts to identify underlying issues, contributing to root cause analysis and long-term problem resolution. Support application deployment activities. Perform Planning and performance tuning activities by reviewing JVM utilization, thread performance, and system resource consumption. Review application behavior, troubleshoot defects, and support code fixes impacting production systems. Requirements : Requires Bachelor's Degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Science or related field. Requires 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Tech Lead, Programmer Analyst, Technical Specialist, Lead Engineer, Application Operations Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer, Production Support Engineer, Senior Software Engineer or related field. Requires experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), IBM HTTP Server, Apache, Tomcat, AWS, Azure, DB, Unix , Linux , Windows, SSL/TLS, Kubernetes, JVM Position requires relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S with multiple Openings
