This is an on-site role at a NASA center.
What you'll do:
- Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching and troubleshooting on OpenShift
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for MAS configurations across multiple environments (Python, JavaScript, XML, JSON)
- Lead the technical design of integrations between Maximo and NASA enterprise systems using MIF and REST APIs
- Implement secure API management and authentication, and define API messages, error handling and monitoring
- Configure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO and MAF configuration
- Manage MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID
- Build and support BIRT and Power BI reporting, data models, and row-level security across a multi-org, multi-site environment
- Present platform status and plans to NASA leadership and center teams
- Track issues and service requests in Jira Service Management What we need
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of hands-on Maximo technical engineering
- Hands-on MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching and troubleshooting
- Maximo architecture, automation scripting, and MIF / REST API integrations
- Advanced Linux: scripting, system operations and performance
- OpenShift and containerized enterprise MAS deployments
- BIRT and Power BI reporting, data modeling, and row-level security in a multi-org, multi-site setup
- Scripting in Python, JavaScript, XML and JSON
- Maximo Mobile, SSO, and MAF configuration
- Clear communicator who can brief leadership as well as engineers Nice to have NASA or other federal Maximo environments; IBM TRIRIGA or Maximo Real Estate and Facilities (MREF); MAS licensing and user sync methods; high availability, performance tuning and MAS observability; IBM Maximo certifications (Certified Deployment Professional or Certified Administrator).

- Public Trust. You must be able to obtain a Public Trust. A current Public Trust is a plus.

You must already live within 50 miles of a NASA center: Ames (Moffett Field, CA), Armstrong (Edwards, CA), Glenn (Cleveland, OH), Goddard (Greenbelt, MD), Johnson (Houston, TX), Kennedy (FL Space Coast), Langley (Hampton, VA), Marshall (Huntsville, AL), or Stennis (Bay St. Louis, MS). This role is on site. We are not offering relocation.
