Job Description
Alpine Paper Box Inc. is seeking an experienced industrial machine operator with strong mechanical aptitude to train on and operate our rigid setup-box manufacturing equipment.
The position involves hands-on operation of automated production machinery, monitoring production flow, responding quickly to jams and stoppages, making machine adjustments, maintaining product quality, and learning the mechanical and production systems required to keep the equipment running efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate and monitor rigid-box production machinery
- Feed materials and maintain consistent production flow
- Identify and correct jams, feeding problems, and alignment issues
- Learn machine sensors, timing controls, and operating sequences
- Monitor and adjust adhesive application and glue consistency
- Assist with troubleshooting and routine mechanical adjustments
- Learn complete machine changeovers for different box sizes and styles
- Install and adjust multiple dies, guides, feeders, and related components
- Perform quality checks throughout production
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience troubleshooting production equipment
- Ability to learn complex machinery and make operating adjustments
- Reliable and able to work independently after training
- Experience limited only to forklift operation, palletizing, or general warehouse work is not considered machine-operator experience
Rigid-box manufacturing experience is not required. Training will be provided on our specific equipment and production process.
