Job Description
Software Consultant II needed in Princeton, NJ to design/develop/maintain scalable enterprise backend apps & microservices using Java, Spring, REST & SQL; analyze bus/tech reqs & develop sys architecture/RESTful API solutions; modernize legacy sys by migrating SOAP services to REST APIs; design secure internal/external integrations using API gateways/mgmt platforms; develop service-to-service communications & event-driven integrations incl. Apache Kafka; impl caching to optimize performance/reduce sys load; deploy/support/troubleshoot backend services in cloud environments incl. Microsoft Azure using log analysis/debugging; collaborate with cross-functional teams & participate in code reviews/Agile development. Reqs: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or very closely related field + 24 mos. exp. in job offered, Associate Consultant, Tech Lead, Engineer, or related IT occupation.
