Job Overview/Description
The Kitchen & Bath Designer guides clients from first consultation through design, proposal, and sale, and hands sold projects off for installation. Projects start with kitchens and baths but extend to any space where cabinetry fits, including closets, mudrooms, laundry rooms, home offices, wet bars, and built-ins. This is an on-site position serving the Greater Pittsburgh region.
In this role, the Designer pairs strong design skill with sales discipline and follows the department's design-to-sell process so every client receives the same high-quality experience. Success means clients consistently receive that experience, sales targets are met or exceeded, and sold projects move to installation with minimal errors or rework. The Designer also supports less experienced teammates and helps build strong relationships with our trade partners.
This role typically runs 40–45 hours per week. The responsibilities below capture the heart of the job, but they're likely to evolve as our department grows - the employer may adjust or add to these duties over time based on business needs.
