Our client, an AI-driven company within the real estate sector, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable systems that address complex, high-impact challenges.
Responsibilities
• Design, build and deliver production-grade software across the company's AI platform.
• Own major systems end to end, from architecture decisions through to implementation and delivery.
• Work closely with the CTO and founding team to define product direction and technical strategy.
• Build AI-powered workflows, including LLM pipelines and agentic systems where accuracy and reliability are critical.
• Develop solutions for complex legal, financial and institutional data challenges.
• Make thoughtful architecture decisions and solve complex engineering problems in ambiguous environments.
• Champion software quality, data integrity, security and reliability across the platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver intuitive products for families and professionals.
Skillset
• At least 5 years of experience designing, building and delivering production-grade software solutions.
• Strong programming skills with Python and/or TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing scalable systems and making effective architecture decisions.
• Familiarity with LLM pipelines, AI agents, or the ability to quickly learn and apply emerging AI technologies.
• Strong focus on software correctness, reliability and working with sensitive or regulated data.
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL and data-intensive systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to delivering impactful solutions.
• Experience working within fintech, legaltech, healthtech or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Previous startup experience is a bonus.
