Executive Director
We are a nationwide network of addiction treatment centers providing evidence-based care for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Through individualized treatment and a full continuum of care, we help clients build the skills, confidence, and foundation needed for lasting recovery and a healthier, more fulfilling life.
About the Role
As Executive Director, you own the overall performance of the treatment center: the quality of care clients receive, the strength of the leadership team, and the financial health of the facility. You will lead the department directors, including the Clinical Director and Director of Nursing, and hold the team accountable for census, staffing, compliance, quality standards, and client outcomes. You set the tone for the building, and the culture of the facility will reflect the expectations you establish and follow through on.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not an office job. You will be visible throughout the facility every day, in daily operational huddles and weekly leadership meetings, in conversations with staff and clients, and alongside your directors as they work through problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations across all service lines, ensuring safe staffing, effective treatment delivery, and consistent operational performance.
- Lead daily operational meetings and weekly leadership meetings, while supporting department directors in monthly performance and operating reviews.
- Recruit, hire, and retain qualified department leaders, and provide direct supervision to the facility leadership team.
- Build a culture of accountability by establishing clear expectations, measurable performance goals, and consistent coaching and follow-through.
- Develop and maintain staff engagement and retention strategies focused on reducing turnover and strengthening team stability.
- Address employee relations matters and workplace concerns in partnership with Human Resources.
- Maintain continuous survey readiness and ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor and improve quality of care, patient safety, clinical outcomes, and satisfaction among patients and referral partners.
